Saving items that interest you allows to you easily reference the items in the future. If the item is in an upcoming auction, you’ll also receive an email alert the day before the auction. To save an item, follow the steps below:
- Log into your Invaluable account.
- Navigate to the item you’re interested in.
- Click the heart icon to the right of the photos.
- The heart icon should turn pink, indicating that you’ve saved the item.
When you’re signed into your account, you can easily view your saved items at any time by clicking the heart icon in the top right of Invaluable.
To save a specific search, complete the following steps
- Log in to Invaluable
- Perform a search using the search bar in the upper right corner
- Click Save to my Saved Searches at the top of the search results page
- When saved, Save to my Saved Searches will read Saved to my Searches
There are multiple ways to search for the works of a particular artist in Upcoming Auctions, the Price Archive, and your personal Alerts.
How to search for an artist in an upcoming auction:
- Type the name of the artist in the search bar
- Press enter, or click the magnifying glass icon
How to search for an artist in our Price Archive:
- Click Price Archive at the bottom of the page
- Type the name of the artist in the Keywords text box
- Click Search
How to search for an artist and add them to your Alerts:
- Log in to Invaluable
- Click the user icon in the upper right corner
- Select Keyword/Artist Alerts under Manage Alerts
- Under Add Artist Alerts, search for artist by name and click the artist’s name
The Artist’s name will now appear in your list of Artist Alerts.
The Invaluable Price Archive is an expansive database of prices realized spanning decades of auction sales from all over the world. The Price Archive is a fantastic resource for collectors, buyers, institutions, researchers and art enthusiasts.
To access the Price Archive, you must create an account with Invaluable. Any user may search auction data, but certain advanced search functionality and auction information may require a subscription.
To search the Price Archive, simply log in to Invaluable and click Price Archive at the bottom of the page. Type in desired key words or phrases and click Search.
With a free Invaluable account, you will have access to up to 12 months of past auction prices. If you would like to find auction prices further than the past 12 months, you may be interested in one of our subscriptions.
We have varying subscription levels to our Price Archive: our Premium subscription provides access to the last five years in the archive, and the Professional provides access to the last 15+ years. In addition to unlimited searches, every subscription level also includes special access to the most exclusive catalogs, including Christie’s and Sotheby’s.
