To set up email alerts for keywords, complete the following steps:
- Type the name of the item or term you are looking for into the search box at the top of your page, then hit ENTER. This will take you to a search results page.
- Once on the search results page, click the “Follow this Keyword” button to the right of your search term. If you are not signed in to an Invaluable account, you will be prompted to sign in or create an account.
- The plus sign (+) inside the button will change to a checkmark to indicate you are now following that keyword.
To remove saved alerts, complete the following steps:
- Log in to Invaluable.
- Hover over the user icon in the upper right of the page.
- Select one of the options under the Following section: Keywords, Artists, Sellers, or Categories.
- Click Edit List and then click Remove next to the alerts you’re no longer interested in.
- Click Done to save your changes.
If you no longer wish to receive emails from Invaluable including the weekly newsletter, featured auction emails, pre-approval emails, or personalized alerts, complete the following steps:
- Log in to Invaluable.
- Hover over the user icon in the upper right of the page.
- Click Email Preferences in the list that appears.
- Uncheck the boxes for any emails you would like to unsubscribe from, or click Unsubscribe from all emails if you no longer wish to receive any of these emails.
- Click Save My Preferences when you’re done.
Invaluable offers text message alerts for bidders leaving absentee bids on a sale. Text message alerts allow bidders with absentee bids to receive text message (SMS) alerts if outbid and when the lot they bid on is coming up to auction. Mobile alerts not available on all carriers. Normal text messaging fees from your carrier may apply.
To receive text message alerts, complete the following steps:
- Log in to Invaluable
- Navigate to the desired sale and lot
- Leave an absentee bid
- When reviewing and confirming your bid, check the box next to I would like to receive text (SMS) alerts at and select the appropriate country and provide your mobile number.
- Read the auction house’s Terms & Conditions and check the box next to I have read and agree to this auction’s terms and conditions.
- Click Place Bid
If you use Invaluable’s iOS or Android mobile app, you can manage notifications in your account in the app. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Open the Invaluable app on your mobile device
- Go to Account
- Select My Notifications
- Go to Settings
- Slide the toggles on or off as desired to choose which notifications you want to receive
There are 5 types of notifications available to manage and receive in Invaluable’s iOS and Android mobile apps. They are listed and described below:
- I’ve been outbid: If you have an absentee bid placed on an item in a live or timed auction and another absentee bidder outbids you, you will receive a notification. You will not receive a notification if you are outbid by a live bidder when the lot opens for bidding during a live auction.
- My saved item is coming up: If you saved an item in a live auction by clicking the heart icon on the item, you will receive a notification when that item is 5 lots away in the auction. For timed auctions, you will receive a notification 5 minutes before the lot’s end time.
- My bid is coming up: If you have an absentee bid on an item in a live auction, you will receive a notification when that item is 5 lots away in the auction. For timed auctions, you will receive a notification 5 minutes before the lot’s end time.
- My registration status is updated: You’ll receive a notification when your registration for an auction is updated from pending to approved.
- Invaluable’s Top Auctions: This is a notification advertising the catalog of one of the top auctions on Invaluable.
If you are not receiving emails from Invaluable, they might be landing in your junk or spam folder. Please visit this page for more information specific to your email provider. You should also whitelist the email domains [email protected] and [email protected] which is the sender for most of our emails and alerts.
